About this role

Specific Role:

The Line Unload is a key role in EMIT’s manufacturing facility, responsible for safely unloading coated parts from the production line and preparing them for the next stage of production. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and care to ensure finished parts are handled without damage. Line Unload team members support production flow by properly stacking, organizing, and transferring finished goods.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Unload finished coated parts from the automated powder line onto pallets.
  • Stack parts using protective materials such as foam to prevent damage during transport.
  • Remove used hooks and place them in designated bins.
  • Transfer finished products to the appropriate landing zone for the next production activity.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas free of potential hazards.
  • Follow leadership direction to meet daily production priorities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–2+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, or material handling preferred.
  • Ability to safely handle and stack finished products without causing damage.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality is maintained post-coating.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical & Safety Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Comfortable standing, walking, and moving for the duration of a shift.
  • Always use proper PPE when required.
  • Follow safety protocols when using tools and handling materials.
