About the Opportunity

Ellucian is seeking an experienced Treasury Manager to join our global Finance organization. Reporting to the Senior Director, Treasurer, this role will serve as a key member of the Treasury team with broad involvement across global cash and liquidity management, debt and derivative administration, banking, treasury technology, financial risk management, and strategic Treasury initiatives.

This is a hands-on, manager-level individual contributor role offering the opportunity to take ownership of key Treasury activities and projects, develop and apply subject-matter expertise, and provide experienced support across the broader Treasury function. The Treasury Manager will collaborate across Finance and the broader organization and work directly with Ellucian's global banking partners.

A key focus of the role will be helping advance Ellucian's Treasury technology and processes, including SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, automation, analytics, and emerging AI capabilities. The successful candidate will combine strong technical Treasury expertise with sound judgment, a continuous-improvement mindset, and an interest in using technology to create more scalable, efficient, and insightful Treasury operations.

Where you will make an impact

• Play a key role in the implementation and ongoing development of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Treasury capabilities, including Cash Management, Bank Account Management, and Treasury Risk Management, while developing deep functional expertise and serving as a Treasury subject-matter expert for the platform.
• Support the Treasury organization across key aspects of global cash and liquidity management, including daily cash requirements, liquidity positioning, short-term investments, and analysis supporting borrowing and repayment decisions.
• Partner with the Treasury team to enhance cash forecasting for U.S. and international operations through improvements in processes, data quality, analytics, and forecasting methodologies.
• Manage debt and derivative administration, including monthly reporting, payments, forecasts, compliance requirements, and related analysis.
• Manage global bank account administration and governance, including account openings and closures, KYC/AML requirements, signatory maintenance, online banking administration, and related controls. Support global business needs and expansion by establishing banking relationships and implementing appropriate Treasury services in new and existing markets.
• Provide experienced support for global and cross-border payment activities, including foreign currency transactions, intercompany settlements, non-standard disbursements, and appropriate payment approvals. Partner in improving global payment processes, documentation, and operating efficiency.
• Manage the day-to-day administration of Ellucian's letter of credit, bank guarantee, and surety programs.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor compliance with global Treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls, while identifying opportunities to enhance processes and documentation.
• Partner with internal Finance and G&A stakeholders and external banking partners to execute strategic and operational Treasury initiatives.
• Support global bank fee budgeting and analysis, including opportunities to optimize banking services and reduce costs.
• Leverage AI, automation, and analytical tools to improve Treasury analysis, forecasting, reporting, documentation, controls, and process efficiency.
• Lead and contribute to special projects and strategic Treasury initiatives based on evolving business needs and senior management priorities.

What you will bring

• 5+ years of progressive corporate Treasury experience, preferably within a multinational or global corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of corporate Treasury principles and practices, including cash and liquidity management, debt, short-term investments, banking, foreign exchange, financial risk management, and cash flow forecasting.
• Experience with global and multi-currency Treasury activities, including cross-border payments, intercompany settlements, global banking structures, and related regulatory requirements such as FBAR reporting.
• Strong understanding of commercial banking products and services, financial markets, finance and accounting principles, and internal controls.
• Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Treasury and Cash Management, with hands-on experience using SAP S/4HANA or a comparable Treasury/ERP platform. Experience supporting an SAP S/4HANA Treasury implementation or similar integrated Treasury technology implementation is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort working with online banking platforms, financial systems, data, and analytical tools.
• Demonstrated ability and interest in using AI tools, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance analysis, solve business problems, improve processes, and increase productivity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop thoughtful, actionable recommendations.
• Strong attention to detail and a control-oriented mindset, with an understanding of compliance and audit requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships across the organization.
• Proactive and collaborative, with the ability to take ownership, manage multiple priorities, work independently, and drive continuous improvement.
