Job DetailsJob Location: Midtown - Elite - Nashville, TN 37203Position Type: Full TimeThe Athletic Trainer is an essential member of our outpatient sports medicine clinic, working alongside physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners to provide exceptional patient care.
In this role, you will prepare patients and electronic medical records for provider visits, facilitate physician orders, and communicate patient injuries and conditions to the care team. You will also assist with clinical procedures and patient care, including suture removal, injection preparation, and brace fitting.
Additional responsibilities include scheduling surgeries and follow-up appointments, providing patient education in person and by phone, and documenting office visits and patient communications.
On-the-job training is provided.
This position primarily focuses on patient care in a clinic setting and offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no late nights, weekends, or holidays.
Additional paid outreach opportunities may be available at local sporting events outside of regular clinic hours.
Compensation is based on experience.
QualificationsEducation and Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education preferred
Licensure or Certification in one of the following types:
Athletic Trainer: BOC certification AND State of Tennessee AT license
Medical assisting training preferred
Proficiency using email and interacting with Internet applications
Excellent communication skills and the ability to perform patient education duties
