About this role
Who is Eleos Health?
The people who deliver care in our communities and homes do some of the most important work in healthcare. But too often, theyʼre asked to spend their time navigating paperwork, administrative burden, and problems they only discover after something has already gone wrong.
Eleos exists to change that.
Weʼre building the system of action for community-based care - helping behavioral health, hospice, home health, and other care teams spend less time reacting to problems and more time focused on the people they serve.
Powered by our Polaris AI, Eleos works alongside clinicians and their teams to understand whatʼs happening across care in real time and take action before issues become problems, reducing administrative burden, protecting revenue and compliance, and giving care teams more time and
capacity to deliver great care.
Our vision is a world where care teams can stay one step ahead, rather than constantly catching up. Weʼre helping shift an entire industry from reactive to proactive, and we need talented people to help us get there.

What is the Opportunity?
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a high-impact, multi-disciplinary team building a customer-facing product trusted by health industry specialists. This team is solving complex technical challenges with a modern stack to power Eleos’ core growth engine.
In this role you will collaborate closely with other R&D, Product, and Data teams.
Who Are You?
You are a seasoned Full Stack Engineer with deep expertise in the Frontend and a strong comfort level across the Backend. You are a builder at heart who thrives on end-to-end ownership- from dissecting existing codebases to architecting production-grade solutions from scratch.
You navigate ambiguity with ease, seamlessly shift context between product features and infrastructure, and champion quality across Frontend, Backend, DevOps, and QA.
What You’ll Do
- Architect & Build: Design and develop high-quality, scalable, production-grade systems, ensuring exceptional performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Own E2E Lifecycle: Drive the entire development cycle from initial ideation to production- including architectural design, CI/CD deployment, and proactive live monitoring.
- Elevate Engineering Standards: Actively participate in code reviews, mentor peers, and uphold best practices across the engineering organization.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Product, Data, and compliance stakeholders to translate complex clinical and business needs into elegant technical solutions.
What You Bring:
- 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with a strong, broad foundation in computer science principles (data structures, concurrency, and performance trade-offs).
- Deep expertise in modern Frontend development, including solid mastery of React patterns, state management, and data modeling.
- Proficiency in TypeScrip (or equivalent) and Python (or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native, event-driven architectures.
- Strong system design instincts with experience meeting real-time SLAs.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure best practices.
- Product & Customer Sense: A healthy curiosity for why we build, ensuring technical decisions align with user needs.
- Modern Tooling: Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development velocity.
- Education: BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Senior Backend Engineer – Compliance & Growth
