Elderwood at Williamsville is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to provide facility-wide clinical leadership during the evening or overnight shift.

 

This is an opportunity for an RN who can see the whole building: supporting nurses and CNAs, responding when resident needs change, helping teams work through challenges, and ensuring that safe, consistent care continues throughout the shift. You will serve as a visible clinical resource for the nursing team while helping maintain strong communication, accountability, and follow-through across each unit.

 

Conveniently located for nursing professionals throughout Williamsville, Amherst, Buffalo, Cheektowaga, Clarence, Tonawanda, North Tonawanda, Depew, Lancaster, and surrounding Western New York communities.

Compensation Options That Recognize Your Experience

  • Eligible RNs may elect to waive certain benefits and receive a 10% increase in base pay

  • Shift differentials are available where applicable

  • The posted pay range includes the premium available to eligible employees who waive certain benefits

Responsibilities

As Registered Nurse (RN) Nursing Supervisor, What You’ll Lead:

  • Provide clinical and operational oversight of nursing services during the assigned shift

  • Supervise, guide, and support nursing personnel throughout the facility

  • Conduct rounds and maintain awareness of resident, staffing, and unit needs

  • Help nursing teams prioritize care and respond appropriately to changes in resident condition

  • Promote timely, accurate documentation and adherence to clinical policies

  • Support safe staffing decisions, including responding to call-ins and unexpected changes

  • Communicate significant clinical or operational concerns to the appropriate leaders

  • Assist employees with problem-solving, conflict resolution, and resident or family concerns

  • Reinforce infection-prevention, resident-safety, and regulatory expectations

  • Help create a professional environment in which employees feel supported and accountable

Qualifications

As Registered Nurse (RN) Nursing Supervisor, What You’ll Need:

  • Current license and registration to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State

  • Clinical knowledge and judgment appropriate for a nursing-supervision role

  • Ability to direct and support nursing personnel throughout the assigned shift

  • Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is strongly preferred

  • Previous Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Unit Manager, or other nursing-leadership experience is preferred

  • This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
