About this role
EHS International are currently recruiting an experienced Health & Safety
professional for a permanent position with one of our manufacturing
clients in North Cork.
The Role
This position requires a credible, self-sufficient H&S
professional who can operate effectively at management level and
build genuine trust with the people doing the work on the ground.
You will take ownership of the site's H&S function during an
interim period — maintaining standards, leading audits and
investigations, managing the risk assessment programme, and ensuring
a structured handover to the incoming permanent appointment.
What You Bring
- Minimum 5 years in a
dedicated Health & Safety role, with experience in
manufacturing, process, or production environments
- Demonstrated ability
to engage and influence at all levels — from operative to senior management
- Competency in risk
assessment, audit leadership, incident investigation, and HSA interaction
- Relevant H&S
qualification — NFQ Level 7 minimum; NEBOSH General Certificate or
equivalent preferred
- Available to commit
2–3 days per week on-site in North Cork
