Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dry Cleaning Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our dry cleaning facility. This role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of garment care and plant machinery, and a commitment to quality control and customer satisfaction.

  • Schedule: 5–6 days per week, approximately 8–10 hours per day (40–50+ hours/week).

  • Location: On-site (Full-Time).

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations Management: Oversee morning open/evening close, workflow scheduling, and overall plant productivity to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.

  • Quality Control & Finishing: Inspect garments for stain removal, proper pressing, minor repairs, and packaging standards before customer pickup or delivery.

  • Equipment & Facility Maintenance: Monitor dry cleaning machines, presses, boilers, and conveyor systems; coordinate routine maintenance and immediate repairs to prevent downtime.

  • Staff Supervision & Training: Lead, train, and support pressers, spotters, counter staff, and assembly teams, fostering a productive and safe work environment.

  • Customer Service & Problem Resolution: Handle customer inquiries, manage special garment care requests, and resolve any order discrepancies or complaints professionally.

  • Inventory & Supply Control: Track plant supplies (solvents, hangers, poly tubing, cleaning agents) and place replenishment orders within budget.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in dry cleaning plant management or supervisory roles.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabric care, spot removal techniques, dry cleaning chemistry, and commercial pressing equipment.

  • Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work 8–10 hour shifts across 5–6 days a week, including early mornings or weekends as needed.

  • Leadership Skills: Excellent team communication, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail under fast-paced working conditions.
