Purpose 

The Vice President, Regional Manager – Sales and Service leads profitable growth across a defined geographic region by setting strategic direction, driving execution, and building competitive advantage through people. This role is accountable for achieving Orders Taken, invoicing, and margin objectives while ensuring world-class customer service, operational discipline, and alignment with EFCO’s Core Values. 

As a senior leader with fiduciary responsibilities, the VP Regional Manager also safeguards EFCO’s financial integrity and reputation by ensuring compliance with corporate policy, effective risk management, and responsible stewardship of company assets. This role serves as a key link between corporate leadership and district execution, ensuring regional performance contributes to EFCO’s long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

 

Leadership and Culture (25%) 

  • Create a competitive advantage through people by fostering a high-performance culture rooted in EFCO’s Core Values. 
  • Ensure safety and integrity are embedded in all regional operations. 
  • Actively coach, retain, and develop District Managers, ensuring alignment with EFCO’s standards and corporate mission. 
  • Build organizational resilience through talent development, succession planning, and institutional knowledge retention. 

 

Operational Profitability and Growth (25%) 

  • Deliver regional sales performance by meeting or exceeding Orders Taken, invoicing, and profitability targets. 
  • Expand EFCO’s presence in new markets while deepening relationships with existing customers, including large international contractors. 
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, distribution, and corporate functions to ensure timely delivery, service excellence, and customer satisfaction. 
  • Maintain financial discipline by managing accounts receivable, credits, and expense control at the regional level.

 

Strategic Planning and Market Development (20%) 

  • Translate EFCO’s corporate strategy into actionable regional plans that expand market share and position EFCO as the supplier of choice. 
  • Leverage CRM analytics and market intelligence to identify opportunities, monitor competitors, and guide product/service launches. 
  • Drive lease pool utilization and ensure effective management of opportunity pipelines. 
  • Innovate approaches for penetrating new markets and maximizing EFCO’s value proposition around Lowest In-Place Concrete Costs. 

 

Fiduciary and Corporate Responsibilities (15%) 

  • Ensure compliance with EFCO’s financial policies, reporting requirements, and governance standards. 
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of regional financial results to senior leadership, enabling data-driven corporate decision-making. 
  • Manage fiduciary responsibilities including budget stewardship, contract adherence, credit discipline, and risk management. 
  • Serve as a corporate representative in the region, reinforcing EFCO’s reputation, brand integrity, and long-term stability. 

 

Team Development and Execution (15%) 

  • Lead, coach, and mentor District Sales Managers, instilling accountability, collaboration, and a relentless focus on execution. 
  • Promote continuous improvement in sales cycle discipline, data integrity, and customer engagement. 
  • Set clear development expectations, follow through on growth plans, and hold leaders accountable for results. 

 

Additional duties may be assigned as required by business necessity may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing to meet organizational goals and priorities.   

 

Qualifications 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, sales/marketing, or related field preferred. MBA is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive construction sales leadership experience, including regional or multi-district oversight; demonstrated success driving profitability and leading diverse teams. 
  • Certification(s) and License(s): N/A 
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead through influence and authority; track record of developing talent and building high-performing organizations. 
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in relevant software systems
  • Other Requirements: Strong strategic planning, communication, financial acumen, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to manage fiduciary responsibilities and protect corporate interests. Self-motivated, proactive, and creative in problem-solving. Able to anticipate challenges, act decisively, and maintain confidentiality. Extensive travel required.
