We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and organized Prep Cook to join our food service team. The Prep Cook plays an important role in preparing fresh ingredients and food items to ensure our kitchen is ready for fast and efficient breakfast and lunch service.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and food items for daily service
Wash, cut, slice, chop, and portion vegetables, meats, and other ingredients
Prepare sandwiches, salads, grab-and-go items, desserts, and other menu items
Follow recipes and proper portion sizes
Set up and stock kitchen stations before service
Label, date, rotate, and properly store food
Follow FIFO procedures to maintain freshness and reduce waste
Monitor food temperatures and follow food safety procedures
Keep prep areas, equipment, and workstations clean and sanitized
Assist cooks during breakfast and lunch service as needed
Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift
Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries
Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties
Follow all company, food safety, and workplace safety procedures

QualificationsQualifications
Previous prep cook or food service experience preferred
Dependable and punctual
Basic knife and food preparation skills
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to follow recipes and portion standards
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift and move food and kitchen supplies
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Positive and professional attitude
