We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and dependable Barista to join our food service team. The Barista will prepare quality coffee and specialty beverages while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced campus café environment.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and other specialty beverages
Follow recipes and proper portion standards for all beverages
Provide friendly and professional customer service
Greet customers and take orders accurately
Operate the POS system and process customer transactions
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked coffee station
Restock coffee, cups, lids, syrups, milk, and other supplies
Prepare grab-and-go food and beverage items as needed
Clean and sanitize espresso machines, equipment, counters, and work areas
Monitor product quality and freshness
Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Assist with opening and closing duties
Work efficiently during busy breakfast and lunch periods
Assist other team members as needed

QualificationsQualifications
Previous barista, coffee shop, or customer service experience preferred
Dependable and punctual
Friendly and outgoing personality
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to learn beverage recipes and preparation techniques
Ability to operate an espresso machine and other coffee equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand for extended periods
Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
Positive and professional attitude
