About this role

Dyania was born with the mission to find clinically critical and relevant insights buried within electronic medical records and release these insights to inform and drive clinical care and clinical research. Our vision is to make sure every patient gets the right care at the right time based in medical decisions precisely informed by their own data. Each patient’s medical record would take a provider nearly 2 hours to read once, let alone read again and again for all the updates cumulated over time. It would be humanly infeasible to achieve even if there was an army of available human clinicians with time that they could spare. Moreover, if so much of medicine is undiscovered, how is an AI model meant to reason appropriately if humans do not know or agree on the right answer? What does high performing reasoning mean in a world of discord and vagueness?

Synapsis AI is the answer.

At Dyania Health, we built Synapsis AI over years of AI research, clinicians annotating data and real world tests to acutely understand and overcome every challenge at the point of care. The reason why we became obsessed with solving this problem has its roots in the very core of what is an innately human problem.

The Role: People Operations Manager (Athens, Greece)

We're hiring a People Operations Manager to be the on-the-ground People presence for our growing team in Athens, reporting to our US-based People Director. While the Director designs Dyania's People strategy globally, you'll bring it to life in Greece — running recruiting coordination, onboarding, HR operations, and culture for our Athens office, and serving as the trusted first point of contact for every teammate there. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role in a company where the People function builds the organization rather than just administering it — and as our Greek team grows, so does the scope of this role.

What you'll own in year one

o Recruiting coordination and candidate experience — run the hiring engine for our Greece roles: manage pipelines and scheduling, coordinate our structured interview process with hiring managers, and make every candidate interaction reflect who we are.

o Onboarding and training — deliver the onboarding experience for new hires in Athens, adapting global materials locally so every new Dyanian is productive and connected from week one.

o Greek HR operations and compliance — own day-to-day HR administration for Greece: employment contracts and documents, payroll coordination with our local provider, Greek labor law compliance, offboarding, and the operational backbone of the office (employee equipment, tools and subscriptions, systems access).

o Policies and employee lifecycle — localize company policies and the employee handbook for Greece, and keep employee records and our HRIS accurate and current.

o Employee engagement and culture — build connective culture practices for the Athens office and across our distributed US–Greece team: local events and rituals, pulse-survey follow-through, and feedback loops that make sure every voice is heard.

o Performance and goals support — support the global rollout of our goal-setting and performance review cycles in Greece, helping managers and teammates get the most out of both.

o 3–6 years of HR / People operations experience, with hands-on ownership of core processes — recruiting coordination, onboarding, payroll, or HR administration.

o Working knowledge of Greek employment law and payroll practice — contracts, statutory requirements, and coordination with payroll providers.

o A hands-on executor who owns work end to end without close supervision — you take a goal, build the process, and run it, sweating the details along the way.

o High discretion and judgment with confidential and sensitive employee matters.

o Fluent English and Greek — you’ll work daily with US-based leadership and Greek teammates, authorities, and providers.

What sets you apart

o Startup or scale-up experience — you’ve worked in a fast-growing technology company where processes were being built, not inherited.

o Cross-border exposure — you’ve supported a distributed or international team, and are familiar with GDPR as it applies to employee data.

o Systems fluency — you’ve worked with (or helped implement) HRIS, ATS, or payroll platforms.

o Recruiting depth — you’ve gone beyond coordination to sourcing, screening, or closing candidates.

Who is a Dyanian?

o Leads with empathy for our patients, teammates, partners, and clients

o Has an insatiable curiosity for learning new concepts and intellectual growth

o Has self-awareness in knowing what they know and what they don't know

o Maintains humility in recognizing that perfection does not exist, welcoming growth that comes from being wrong

o Has a magnetic attraction towards cross-disciplinary teams with diversity of thought, perspective, skill set, working style, knowledge, and interests who have a passion for solving challenging problems

o Maintains a flexible and adaptive attitude towards solving problems
