Production Coordinator
To provide support to Manufacturing to coordinate movement of aircraft parts through the production cycle.

Job Summary
- Closely work with Manufacturing to verify correct jobs are being worked
- Closely work with planning to assist in timely and accurate part status
- Process non-conforming parts (MRRs) and assist in closure / management
- Facilitate Cycle Counts
- Review Daily Dispatch List for errors and accuracy against jobs in work
- Ensure all material, blueprints, tools, NC tapes, etc. are available to manufacturing at the start of each new job.
- Monitor all Material Review Request activity within assigned work area.
- Coordinate with Production Activity Control on all activity within assigned work area to ensure accuracy of the Daily Dispatch List.
- Coordinate with previous and/or next work area coordinator in order to ensure movement of the Work Orders as the jobs are completed. This also includes any transportation required to move the product to the next area.
- Collect work orders as required for planning changes per procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must possess a desire and an aptitude to create a more efficient manufacturing environment with improved material availability and status.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of MS Word, Excel, Windows and experience with integrated ERP systems.
Required Experience and Education
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Prior experience in parts expediting or coordination in an aerospace manufacturing environment. (Perfered not required)
