Service Valet/Porter

The Service Valet/Porter is responsible for keeping the service department vehicles staged for the service writers to perform service repair order write-ups and the service technicians to repair the vehicles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Keep vehicles moving to staging areas for service techs to work on vehicles.
• Install floor mats and seat covers in all vehicles, make sure floor mats and seat covers stay stocked and full and ready to be installed.
• Put alignment hats on vehicles that fail alignment check.
• Keep service lane clean, free of water, oil and other fluids. Mopped and swept.
• Keep service drive and ASM area cleaned daily.
• Walk service parking and service drive roadway and keep clean of cigarette butts and trash, etc.
• Walk service department and lot to recover seat covers left in vehicles.
• Vacuum driver front floorboards on vehicles in service drive.
• Clean windows in service drive and on all service drive doors including the garage doors.
• Check and restock night drop envelopes daily, if needed.
• Perform other duties as directed by your supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or the equivalent;
• Some experience in an auto repair facility preferred;
• Must have a valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record and safe driving habits to drive both customer vehicles and company vehicles;
• Must be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity;
• Maintain an elevated level of professional personal appearance and conduct;
• Proficient knowledge of tools and materials needed to perform departmental duties ensuring an elevated level of customer satisfaction ;
• Eligible to work in the United States.
