What You'll Do

Think of yourself as the co-pilot for our people operations. You'll help ensure our employees have an exceptional experience from onboarding through retirement while helping Dragonfly scale for the future.

HR Operations & Employee Experience

  • Be the go-to HR partner for employees and leaders across the company.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity across HR systems.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities to create a seamless employee experience.
  • Partner with leadership to improve processes, policies, and employee programs.
  • Assist recruitment partners as needed to help attract top talent.
  • Coordinate and manage the performance review process.
  • Help keep our employee handbook and HR policies current and engaging.

 Benefits Administration

  • Manage employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee benefit questions and issue resolution.
  • Lead annual open enrollment activities and educate employees on available options.
  • Partner with brokers and vendors to ensure employees receive outstanding support.
  • Maintain compliance with benefits regulations including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and related requirements.

Payroll & Compliance

  • Work closely with Accounting to ensure accurate and timely multi-state payroll processing.
  • Review timekeeping information, wage calculations, deductions, and overtime payments.
  • Assist with audits, workers' compensation reporting, and compliance initiatives.
  • Generate payroll and HR reports that help leadership make informed decisions.

Growth & Acquisition Integration

Dragonfly is growing fast, and you'll play a critical role in helping us successfully welcome new team members through mergers and acquisitions.

  • Support the onboarding of large groups of employees from acquired organizations.
  • Help integrate benefits, payroll, and HR systems during acquisitions.
  • Conduct employee orientations and introduce new team members to Dragonfly's culture.
  • Ensure compliance and confidentiality throughout every transition.
  • Help create a positive and exciting experience during periods of change.

HRIS Champion

  • Become our in-house HRIS expert and trusted resource.
  • Train employees and managers on system functionality and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot issues and work directly with vendor support when needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting, and automation.
  • Create documentation and guides that make everyone's life easier.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience with emphasis on payroll and benefits administration.
  • Experience supporting multi-state payroll and benefits compliance.
  • Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale employee onboarding.
  • Experience administering retirement and 401(k) programs.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
  • Experience with TriNet or similar HRIS platforms.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and leveraging technology to streamline HR processes.
