The Role
Wax Utilities Operator- the Wax Utilities Operator is responsible for helping out the flow and Production throughout the Wax department.
Key Responsibilities
- The employee must read and understand the work instructions.
- Run the 50-ton press
- Assist Assembly prepping, kitting gates, and Inspecting
- Extrude and cut Gates
- Assist in pouring Gating molds
- Accurately record in the electronic production tracking system (EPICOR) the progress and completion of jobs.
- Change and check leach tanks for flipping and removing parts

- Inspect wax patterns and gating for defects, pin holes, under cuts, cracks and drips
- Follow all safety and PPE requirements
- High attention to detail to ensure accurate and consistent wax gates
- Strong physical capability for handling dies, tools, and repetitive motion tasks
- Team‑oriented mindset, supporting coworkers and maintaining smooth production flow
- Commitment to cleanliness and organization, keeping workstations safe, orderly, and compliant with quality standards
- Reliability and accountability, following procedures and meeting daily production expectations
- Ability to work with fragile and delicate parts
