VAT Refund and Liaison Officer
About this role
Responsibilities
- Prepare VAT refund schedules for Sales, Purchases, and other supporting transactions.
- Compile and prepare documentary requirements for VAT refund claims in accordance with BIR checklist requirements
- Coordinate and process routing clearances with BIR Regional and National Offices
- Secure Delinquency Verification Certificates (DVC) from BIR Regional and National Offices
- Prepare, submit, and monitor VAT refund applications and supporting documents.
- Maintain accurate records and proper filing of VAT refund documentation, including invoices, Service Invoice, Billing Statements, Acknowledgment Receipts, and related supporting documents.
- Monitor status of VAT refund claims and provide regular updates to Management
2. Administrative and Ad Hoc Duties - Perform liaison activities, including submission, follow-up, and collection of official documents and certifications.
- Secure Certificates of Non-Coverage, Foreign Certificates, and other regulatory documents necessary for the company (VAT refund requirement).
3. Administrative Support Functions - Maintain systematic filing and safekeeping of finance and administrative documents.
- Perform bank transactions, government agency errands, and document submissions as required.
1. VAT Refund Preparation
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years' experience in BIR Liaison experience.
- Proficiency with Google Drive.
Work Arrangement
- Work Setup: On-site
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 8:00 am flexi start time, should complete nine 9 hours work, inclusive of one 1 hour lunch break
