Trusted by some of the world’s leading technology companies, we deliver highly scalable, mission-critical solutions that power both consumer and business applications globally. Since our founding in 2017, we have been at the forefront of designing cutting-edge networking, telecommunications, and consumer products, while driving end-to-end project execution and creating transformative technology applications.
Overview
Join our team as an Audio Electrical Engineer and drive the development of groundbreaking consumer audio products from concept to production. You'll architect and refine advanced audio circuits, leverage both objective and subjective data for system-level innovation, and act as a technical leader across diverse engineering teams. Your expertise will shape industry-leading sound experiences through rigorous design, hands-on prototyping, and comprehensive collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and debug the complete audio signal chain, including codecs, embedded DSPs, headphone and speaker amplifiers, and microphones.
- Define, simulate, and validate new audio circuit technologies with SPICE and other modeling tools, setting data-driven performance targets.
- Own holistic audio system design, covering render, capture, amplification, power delivery, and overall integration.
- Serve as the primary cross-functional technical interface, closely collaborating with product design, program management, industrial design, electrical, mechanical, test, and software engineering teams.
- Develop and demonstrate proof-of-concept prototypes to drive technical buy-in and leadership decision-making.
- Specify, design, and support audio-related product and factory test systems to ensure performance and reliability in production.
- Analyze and resolve product- and PCB-level failure modes, both in production and field environments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Acoustics, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of industry experience focused on audio system design with a demonstrated impact on cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in analog and digital circuit design, simulation, and debugging.
- Hands-on experience with SPICE simulation tools (e.g., for filter design, frequency and transient analysis), Audio Precision analyzers, and schematic capture/PCB layout (e.g., OrCAD, Cadence).
- In-depth experience with both PCB assembly and diagnosing product/factory failure modes at system level.
- Demonstrated ability to define and meet objective, literature-backed design targets for audio quality and performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
- Direct experience in transducer design (e.g., loudspeakers, microphones, MEMS) and acoustic test development (laboratory and factory settings).
- Familiarity with transistor-level IC design and the semiconductor manufacturing process for audio solutions.
- Track record of algorithm prototyping, advanced audio chain demos, and hands-on algorithm development.
- Expertise in audio speech quality measurement and optimization using systems such as Brüel & Kjær or HEAD acoustics ACQUA.
- Experience designing or debugging Bluetooth audio systems.
- Passionate personal project experience in areas such as enthusiast speaker building, music recording/production, instrument design, or inventive DIY engineering (e.g., unique custom builds or unconventional devices).
