Founding Engineer
About this role
We are looking for a Founding Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to join a 6-person engineering team building the next-generation revenue infrastructure for B2B AI companies. You'll be a product-minded, ownership-driven backend-leaning full-stack engineer helping Dealops replace legacy CPQ solutions (Salesforce CPQ is sunsetting this year) for customers like Plaid, Harvey, LangChain, and Clay.
What will you be doing?
Building and shipping core backend features for the deal pricing and quoting platform
Developing AI-powered quoting and admin agents launching in the near term
Owning entire product features end-to-end, from design through implementation
Contributing to product decisions with a strong product mindset — understanding the "why" behind what you build
Working cross-functionally in a 12-person company, occasionally supporting customer onboarding and sales efforts
