About this role

About Daptic

Daptic is building the future of regulatory intelligence, with the mission to empower global manufacturers to navigate complex regulations seamlessly and accelerate the global launch of physical products.

With government regulations and standards becoming increasingly complex, product delays and innovation roadblocks are more common than ever. Daptic automates the identification and analysis of relevant regulations, standards, and product requirements, allowing R&D teams to focus on what they do best: creating groundbreaking products within automotive, aerospace, construction, medicine and healthcare, and beyond.

Currently, with a small focused team, we’re proud to be supporting the development of products used by over 100 million people worldwide.

We’ve secured over $6M in seed funding from IA Ventures, 8VC, and other institutional investors who believe in our vision to revolutionize product development.

The Role

As a member of Go-to-Market Strategy & Operations team at Daptic, you'll help set the direction of the business (where we expand next, how we sell and price across the product, how we keep conversion high as the pipeline grows) and shape how we grow our relationship with the world’s largest manufacturers. We're looking for exceptionally talented generalists, strategic thinkers who can zoom out to set direction and dive into the details with the operational excellence to see it through.

We have ambitious growth goals in both the short and long term, and growing pains will come with them. You'll be the person who anticipates them, brings structure to them, and builds the processes and systems that let the team scale through them. You'll combine first-principles thinking with analytical rigor, using customer research and data to shape strategy, inform product direction, and craft materials that move enterprise deals forward.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Own Go-to-Market Strategy and Conversion

    • Define how we sell, who we sell to, and how we price across the entire product.

    • Design and refine sales motions fit for large, complex enterprise contracts, and plan capacity across the sales team as pipeline grows.

    • Build detailed customer and ICP profiles, synthesizing the explicit and implicit needs of the world's largest manufacturers into a repeatable sales process.

    • Develop presentations, proposals, and workshops that support enterprise engagement and conversion.

  2. Inform Product Strategy and Direction

    • Shape product direction and development priorities through customer research, market analysis, and first-principles thinking.

    • Decide how we package, price, and take new products to market, and how we expand across industries from mobility and robotics to industrials, consumer electronics, med-tech, and retail.

  3. Build Scalable Business Processes

    • Identify operational gaps and build the processes, documentation, and tooling that keep go-to-market, customer success, and product work repeatable and efficient as the business grows.

    • Refine those systems continuously based on feedback from the team and customers.

What We're Looking For

Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, or high-growth B2B startups, with a strong blend of analytical, strategic, customer-facing, and cross-functional expertise.

  • Demonstrated technical acumen and the ability to grasp our highly technical product, whether through a technical education or extensive experience with complex data or computer programming.

  • Experience building with AI tools like Claude Code, with AI already part of how you work day to day.

  • Available to work in our office in New York City at least 4 days a week.

  • Open to travel (0% - 25%) as required to support business needs.

What We Value

  • You bring structure to unstructured problems. Given an open-ended question with no obvious frame, you build one and work from it.

  • Strong attention to detail and a "110% mindset" in all tasks.

  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.

  • Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal, and visual, for both internal and customer-facing audiences.

  • Comfort talking to customers and prospects. Customer research and time in the market is expected of all employees.

  • A proven ability to ramp fast on unfamiliar material. We sell to experts across topics like safety, emissions, cyber, data privacy, and restricted substances, and across many industries.

  • Comfort managing multiple projects simultaneously, with an ability to quickly switch contexts.

  • Experience thriving in unstructured environments, demonstrating adaptability and initiative.

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals in a fast-paced, technical environment, such as early promotions or top-of-cohort ratings.

Why you’ll love working here

You’ll shape how we go to market and have a real say in Daptic’s direction this early on. Our customers are household names facing serious regulatory complexity, and we’re helping them solve it with AI. The team is sharp and humble, with high standards and candid collaboration. We work hard, but we also make time to enjoy it, from offsites to team dinners in NYC.

Some other notes

This is an individual contributor role, based out of our Seaport (Manhattan) office 4 or 5 days a week. We offer 100% healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision), a gym membership, and unlimited PTO.
