We are seeking a reliable individual for a position as a Maintenance & Protection of Traffic (MPT) Foreperson to join a dedicated and hard-working team in Wilton Campus. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of traffic control or heavy highway construction experience.
- Previous experience leading traffic control, highway maintenance, or roadway construction crews.
- Thorough understanding of:
- Ability to interpret traffic control plans and project drawings.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- NYSDOT Work Zone Traffic Control Supervisor Certification
- ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) certification
- ATSSA Traffic Control Technician (TCT) certification
- NYSDOT work zone traffic control experience
- Experience on interstate highway, bridge, or roadway reconstruction projects
- Experience coordinating night work and multiple lane closures
- OSHA 30 certification
- CDL (preferred but not required)
Compensation:

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
