About this role
We are seeking, on behalf of our client, an experienced Senior Drill Support Vessel Superintendent to support offshore operations in Suriname.
You act as the Client Representative onboard the Drill Support Vessel, providing onshore and offshore supervision and coordination of vessel activities in support of the development campaign.
You ensure that marine operations are planned and executed safely, efficiently and in compliance with applicable H3SE requirements, marine standards and international regulations.
You work closely with Marine, Drilling, Completion, Subsea, UFR, Geomatics, HSE and contractor teams, coordinating COMOPS and SIMOPS and ensuring effective communication between all stakeholders.
You support vessel mobilisation, operational readiness reviews, engineering assessments, risk evaluations, commissioning and integration activities.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Vessel Superintendent or Client Representative on offshore construction or support vessels
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in COMOPS / SIMOPS coordination
- Proven offshore experience in drilling, subsea, ROV or marine operations
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary offshore activities and contractors
- Valid BOSIET and offshore medical certification
- Fluent English
- Strong operational coordination, communication and reporting skills
- Location: Paramaribo / Offshore, Suriname
- Contract Type: Rotational, 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off
- Working Schedule: 7 days/week
- Duration: 3 years, with an option for a 1-year extension
- Start Date: Target November 2026
