Facilities Maintenance Technician Multi-Property
About this role
- Perform general maintenance and repairs across all five properties.
- Repair and touch up hotel rooms as needed to maintain guest-ready standards.
- Complete basic plumbing repairs, including toilets, sinks, faucets, drains, and minor leaks.
- Perform basic electrical work, including replacing light fixtures, switches, outlets, and other minor electrical components.
- Complete sheetrock/drywall repairs, patching, painting, and touch-ups.
- Repair and adjust doors, locks, hinges, cabinets, and hardware.
- Assemble and install furniture, shelving, equipment, and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on appliances.
- Perform minor flooring repairs and replacements.
- Troubleshoot and complete minor garage door repairs.
- Handle preventative maintenance and general upkeep at the hotel, D1 Training facilities, and residential properties.
- Identify larger maintenance issues and communicate when a licensed contractor or specialist is needed.
- Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area after completing repairs.
- Assist with other maintenance projects and property needs as assigned.
- Previous experience in general maintenance, handyman work, facilities maintenance, construction, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, basic electrical, drywall/sheetrock repair, painting, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel between properties.
- Must own and maintain standard hand and power tools necessary for routine maintenance work.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete repairs with minimal supervision.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Must be dependable, responsive, professional, and able to work independently.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance work.
