Work Location: Warehouse in Raleigh, NC

Job Summary: Receiving Lead oversees the daily operations in the receiving department. Ensuring all incoming inventory, raw materials, and shipments are unloaded, inspected, logged, and routed accurately and safely.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee receiving and other warehouse processes and personnel to make sure work meets quality standards and is performed according to established procedures.
  • Provide training of current and new employees in all appropriate procedures and processes required to complete work assignments.
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Complete inventory transactions to receive, assign location and issue inventory as required.
  • Report any discrepancies.
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Physical demands:

  • Walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds

Requirements

Required Education and Experience: High school diploma and at least 2 year of experience as a Warehouse Worker, preferably commercial. Good attention to detail. Work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems. Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods. 

Schedule: The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am until 5:30 pm.
