Overview
Cummings Electrical is growing, and our Recruiting team is growing with it. We are looking for an experienced Senior Recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, communicates exceptionally well, and builds trusted relationships across the business. This role will work directly with hiring managers and key decision-makers across the organization, requiring the confidence and professionalism to build strong partnerships and influence hiring decisions.

Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting for a high volume of positions across multiple departments, locations, and levels of the organization.
- Partner directly with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand business needs, establish priorities, and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Serve as a trusted talent advisor by providing market insight, candidate recommendations, and solutions to recruiting challenges.
- Proactively source and engage qualified talent through networking, referrals, social platforms, job boards, direct sourcing, events, and creative recruiting strategies.
- Build pipelines for recurring, difficult-to-fill, and anticipated future hiring needs.
- Manage competing priorities while maintaining urgency, organization, quality, and a strong candidate experience.
- Maintain timely, clear, and professional communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruiting process.
- Screen and assess candidates and present qualified talent to hiring managers with thoughtful recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate, requisition, and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
- Use recruiting data and metrics to evaluate pipeline health, identify challenges, and adjust recruiting strategies.
- Collaborate with the Recruiting team, sharing candidates, market intelligence, sourcing strategies, and resources to achieve overall company hiring goals.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, tools, sourcing strategies, and the overall hiring experience.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of progressive recruiting experience, with demonstrated success managing full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proven ability to independently manage a significant requisition load with competing and changing priorities.
- Strong direct-sourcing skills with experience identifying and engaging passive candidates through multiple channels and creative sourcing methods.
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed sourcing tools strongly preferred; iCIMS experience is a major plus.
- Ability to build credible, trusted relationships with hiring managers and senior leaders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to timely, professional follow-through.
- Strong sense of urgency, organization, judgment, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Resourceful and solutions-oriented, with the ability to think creatively when traditional recruiting approaches aren't producing results.
- Comfortable operating independently in a growing organization where priorities and hiring needs continue to evolve.
- Collaborative, positive, and team-oriented with a willingness to share ideas, candidates, and resources.
- Experience recruiting skilled trades, construction, engineering, technical, or other difficult-to-fill positions is highly valued.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience preferred.
