Cummings Electrical is hiring for Experienced Apprentice Electricians to travel in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems under the supervision of a Journeyman or Foreman
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, branch circuit drawings, and installation layouts
  • Measure, bend, and install EMT conduit, including offsets, saddles, and 90° bends
  • Pull, route, and secure conductors in conduit and MC cable systems
  • Install and terminate feeders, branch circuits, panels, receptacles, switches, lighting, and other electrical equipment
  • Assist with transformer installations and connections on 120/208V three-phase systems
  • Perform rough-in and finish electrical work in accordance with project specifications and the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Install GFCI devices and other electrical equipment using proper wiring methods
  • Use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and material handling equipment safely and effectively
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following OSHA and company safety policies
  • Communicate effectively with Foremen, Journeymen, and other trades to ensure quality and timely project completion
  • Accurately complete assigned tasks while maintaining high standards of workmanship and productivity
  • Assist with material handling, job site organization, and other duties as assigned
  • Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork on every project

Qualifications

  • Active TDLR Apprentice Electrician License required
  • Minimum 2–3 years of commercial and/or industrial electrical experience
  • Previous experience on commercial construction projects required; data center or mission-critical project experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and drawings
  • Proficiency in commercial electrical installation methods and conduit bending
  • Working knowledge of commercial electrical systems and basic electrical theory
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety standards
  • Ability to safely use common electrical hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
  • Reliable transportation to and from assigned job sites
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork
