Finance Analyst
About this role
Salary range: €38,000+ (depending on experience)
- Experience in FP&A functions in Renewable Energy or Infrastructure industries;
- Experience in a Financial Advisory arm from one of the Big Four firms.
- Excellent financial modeller – able to construct models from scratch, operate and manage them.
- Strong academic background in Engineering, Finance or similar degrees.
- Fluency in English and Italian is required.
- Self-starter who can manage a full and varied workload and deadlines
- Ability to identify, manage and resolve issues
- Strong communication skills – including both verbal and written in English
- Demonstrates a critical approach and is motivated, bright and personable
- Proactive and pragmatic with a positive attitude and can-do approach
- Enthusiastic and able to take ownership of problems and provide solutions
- Strong team player with an open and proactive approach to sharing of information and creating knowledge for the group
- Maintains master files and initiates various processes.
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Experience of working in either in renewables or energy industry would be advantageous,
- Technically competent and familiar with working with Accounting Law
- Have experience of working in a fast paced, international business
- Lead the analytical and quantitative work for the semi-annual valuation process of Italy and portfolio with Cubico HQ functions;
- Liaise with external advisers, independent auditors and other internal customers;
- Research, analysis and benchmark industry information, technical and financial data
- Have ownership, prepare and update financial models including for the restructuring of project financing based on new terms conditions to be negotiated with key lenders;
- Run sensitivity analysis to assist on the decision-making for the optimal structures for the shareholders;
- Prepare, analyse and present monthly cash flow and income statement projection of Italian SPVs pointing out potential cash shortfalls;
- Assist in the preparation of investment committee presentations to obtain necessary approvals;
- Lead the structuring, execution and coordination of portfolio-level financing and refinancing transactions, engaging with internal teams, lenders and advisers to secure optimal funding solutions in support of the Italian development pipeline.
