Job DetailsJob Location: Corporate - Madison, WI 53718Summary:
The Warranty Claims Specialist works as a corporate liaison between the corporate warranty department and branch locations to file warranty claims and manage those claims through final resolution of payment.
Responsibilities
Administratively support centralized warranty claims processing
Foster effective and timely communication between all branches and corporate warranty department
Communicate and coordinate with supervisor on processing issues
Overall responsibility for data entry upkeep and maintenance of warranty claims
Duties
Receive and process copies of the closed warranty repair order
Enter necessary claim data into multiple supplier systems
Communicate with branch personnel related to submitted warranty claims
Communicate with vendor warranty departments as needed
Track and report on open warranty claims to determine if additional action is needed for payment
Communicate and coordinate with branch personnel and supervisor on warranty rejections and processing issues using various methods and tools
Other duties as assigned
QualificationsEducation, Skills, Experience
Associate’s degree (AA) in office related field or comparable work experience
Three to five years related experience; general office or accounting experience preferred
Ability to demonstrate or display office protocols to staff and other departments
Must be highly organized, detail oriented and results driven
Ability to prioritize and handle numerous tasks simultaneously
Effective written and oral communication skills
Computer skills with an emphasis on word processing and spreadsheet programs
Reporting system experience, including Microsoft Power BI experience is a plus, but not required
Work Environment, Physical Demands
Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and lift/move up to 25lbs. on a regular basis
Ability to work in an environment to include 8–10-hour days, and flexibility to extend working hours when necessary
