Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

Responsible for managing a portfolio of high volume/revenue accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables, minimize credit risk, and maintain positive customer relationships. This role conducts collection activities primarily through phone calls and written communication, develops and maintains account profiles with key customer information to support automation and collection effectiveness, prepares and analyses reporting, monitors account aging and payment trends, resolves disputes, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to improve cash flow and reduce past-due balances. The position is responsible for documenting collection activities, customer commitments, and account status updates within the collections system to ensure accurate records, visibility, and compliance with company policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the coordination, maintenance, and successful collections of an assigned accounts receivable portfolio, primarily through phone calls, written communication, and effective negotiation strategies.
  • Ensures timely collection of outstanding balances, improves cash flow, reduces past-due exposure, and maintains accurate documentation of collection activities and customer commitments within the collections system.

Qualifications

Education & Credentials:

  • Bachelor's in business administration, accounting, finance or related field preferred.; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.

Experience:

  • 3 -5  years commercial credit and collections experience, including the ability to analyze credit reports and financial statements.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.

Other:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
