- Supports operational activities involving documentation, cargo control, equipment control, traffic, and terminal or airport operations.
- Serves as a key operational resource, ensuring compliance and efficient movement of cargo and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with U.S. Customs and government agencies for document validation and cargo inspections.
- Maintain the flow of documentation by collaborating with internal departments and meeting established deadlines.
- Assist customers with routine inquiries and required documentation.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and support to team members in a lead or senior capacity.
- Support operational processes related to cargo and equipment control.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework or job-related training preferred.
- 3–4 years of international transportation or logistics experience, including 2 years in a lead role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) may be required.
- Knowledge of ocean/air shipping documentation, customs regulations, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection procedures.
- Familiarity with USDA procedures is preferred.
