What You'll Do:
Performs various warehouse receiving, moving, stocking, and staging materials in support of operational requirements and shipping assignments as directed.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for conducting physical inventory counts and manage container inventory within the yard; ensuring accurate tracking, documentation, and compliance with hazardous material handling.
- Ensures warehouse environment is clean and safe.
- Provides daily work direction and assignment for warehouseperson.
- Manage container inventory and loading operations by verifying container information, applying and inspection seals and hazardous material placards, and documenting activity.
- May review documentation such as requisitions and inventory lists to plan purchases.
- May prepare and review transportation documentation such as dock receipts, inventory pick lists and truck bills of lading.
Qualifications
Education & Credentials:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
2 - 3 years in related field preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
