About this role

The Senior Payroll Analyst provides exceptional support to all Team Members at Crew Carwash by ensuring payroll is processed accurately, timely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. This position is on-site 5 days per week at our Support Center in Fishers, IN.

The Senior Payroll Analyst serves as a payroll subject matter expert and is responsible for supporting all aspects of bi-weekly payroll processing, payroll reporting, payroll
compliance, payroll audits, payroll-related system functionality, and payroll process improvement. This position plays a key role in identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes, strengthen internal controls, reduce manual work, enhance system functionality, and improve the overall Team Member and leader experience. The Senior Payroll Analyst will manage Dayforce-related process improvement and system enhancement projects, partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Operations, IT, and external vendors, and provide guidance on complex payroll matters. The Senior Payroll Analyst is part of the Payroll and Benefits team and reports to the Payroll and Benefits Manager.

Crew Carwash provides a structured development program designed to help payroll professionals expand their skills in HR technology, reporting, analytics, testing, and process improvement.

What you'll do at Crew:

  • Processes Bi-Weekly Payroll and Payroll Related Activities Accurately and Timely
  • Leads Process Improvement and System Enhancement Projects
  • Ensures Compliance with Payroll Laws, Regulations and Company Policies
  • Provides Payroll Reporting, Analytics and Cross-Functional Support
  • Tracks and Updates Compensation for the Field Managers and Support Center Team Members
  • Other Duties as Assigned by the Payroll and Benefits Manager

Crew's qualifications:

  •  Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a high-volume, multi-state environment.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Experience processing payroll in an HRIS/HCM system, preferably Dayforce.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, lookups and pivot tables.
  • Demonstrated experience improving payroll processes, creating efficiencies, or implementing system enhancements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, projects, and confidential information with accuracy and professionalism.
