POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for overall tire maintenance for semi-tractor/trailer equipment
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Removes and installs tires, which includes all aspects of repairing, replacing damaged/worn tires on tractors or trailers
Maintains and stores tire inventories
Disposes of damaged/old tire casings
Maintains and operates all tire equipment
Receives and carries out instructions
Maintains regular and predictable attendance
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to understand and comply with tire repair and replacement standards
Ability to safely and efficiently work with related tools and lifts
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. at a time
Manual dexterity to operate tools and lifts
* The ability to handle extreme temperatures, loud and continuous noise exposure, dirt, oil and other chemicals
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS
Forklift Certification
OTHER
Safety shoes (steel toe or composite) required
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The nature of the environment is one in which the employee may come in contact with outside weather conditions, vibration,
moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold or extreme heat and excessive
noise levels.
