Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Barista to join our team in Arlington, VA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to company recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment safely and efficiently.
• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and seating areas.
• Handle cash and process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed throughout the shift.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Passion for coffee and eagerness to learn about different brewing methods and products.
