- Design and analyze mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD and engineering analysis tools.
- Lead projects from concept through production, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Perform design validation through simulations, calculations, and physical testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance.
- Generate detailed engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action for product failures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and product/process innovation.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance as needed.
- Analyze and improve mechanical components and systems for performance and durability.
- Creating layouts for product visualizations.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project life cycle.
- Analyze test results and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for designs, processes, and testing.
- Ensure that all designs and systems comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Review and approve engineering drawings and specifications.
- Stay current with advancements in mechanical engineering technologies and methodologies.
- Propose and implement improvements to enhance product performance and efficiency.
- Contribute to research and development initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related role.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Attention to Detail and the ability to manage complex systems and ensure accuracy in inventory records.
- Capable of identifying and resolving issues related to equipment inventory management.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite of products.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment or crane industry.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
- Understanding of heavy equipment types, uses, and maintenance requirements. Highly prefer pervious crane experience.
