|
- A minimum 2 years of experience as a Mobile Crane Mechanic/Technician that can operate and inspect cranes in order to diagnose defects
- Demonstrates working knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, EKS, ECOS, LICCON, and Greer systems
- Examines parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges
- Reads and understands operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings
- Tests mechanical, electronic, electrical and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper operation and compliance with OEM specifications
- Prepares for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness
- Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision
- Maintain conformity to safety requirements, manufacturer procedures, and other regulations
- Properly fills out working reports, hour’s reports, time sheets, hour’s overviews, work orders, and other company and customer paperwork in a timely and efficient manner
- Must complete expense reports in timely manner as dictated by the company policy
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work overtime as well as on weekends is a plus. Travel is required periodically for 1 to 4-day intervals for field techs. Our shop technicians work anywhere from 40 to 50 hours a week depending on immediate needs and our field technicians work anywhere from 40 to 80 hours a week depending on customer needs
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required for field technician positions CDL Preferred

- Field service technicians are supplied with a company service truck, laptop, and company cell phone.
