What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Senior Director of Product – Payment Platforms within our Corpay Payables division. This position falls under our Payables / Accounts Payable Product line of business and is located in Atlanta, GA. In this role, own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Corpay's Payment Platforms within the Payables business. This leader will drive end-to-end product direction across key domains including Vendor Management, Payment Execution, and related payment infrastructure — ensuring solutions are scalable, competitive, and directly aligned with Corpay's business objectives. Reporting to the Head of Product, this VP is a player-coach — equally comfortable setting direction for the team and rolling up their sleeves to personally own key initiatives. They will lead and develop a team of Product Managers and Product Owners while also directly driving high-priority projects, working closely with Engineering, Sales, Operations, and external partners to deliver customer-centric payment experiences that accelerate revenue growth and market differentiation.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of Product Managers and Product Owners focused on Payment Platform domains, including Vendor Management and Payment Execution
  • Personally, owning and driving key strategic initiatives end-to-end, including active hands-on contribution to discovery, definition, and delivery
  • Owning and driving the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Corpay Payables’ Payment Platforms
  • Developing and maintaining a multi-year product vision aligned with Corpay’s corporate goals and evolving market opportunities in B2B payments
  • Prioritizing features and initiatives based on customer feedback, market trends, competitive analysis, and business impact
  • Leading roadmap planning and quarterly reviews while ensuring alignment across Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Finance
  • Creating scalable cross-functional processes to drive consistent, high-quality product development and delivery
  • Engaging directly with customers and industry stakeholders to understand market needs, gather product feedback, and identify growth opportunities
  • Representing Corpay at customer meetings, industry events, and conferences to evangelize Payment Platform offerings and gather competitive intelligence
  • Identifying market trends, competitive threats, and technology advancements, including AI/ML capabilities, to inform product investment decisions
  • Championing the adoption of AI-driven development practices across the product team while partnering with Engineering to embed AI tooling into the SDLC
  • Leveraging AI for workflow orchestration, process automation, and accelerated product discovery, while actively driving the team to do the same
  • Evaluating and recommending potential acquisition or partnership opportunities to complement and expand Corpay’s payment capabilities
  • Making data-driven decisions to maximize ROI and ensure efficient use of product development resources
  • Maintaining transparency with executive stakeholders through regular progress updates and clear communication of trade-offs and key decisions

Qualifications & Skills

  • 10+ years of product management experience
  • 3+ years of senior product management experience leading teams of 3 or more in a B2B environment
  • Proven success developing and executing product strategies for SaaS or platform-based solutions
  • In-depth understanding of payment processes, payment execution, and vendor/supplier management within mid-market or enterprise environments
  • Strong leadership skills with a proactive, results-driven approach and ability to set clear team objectives
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building relationships across all organizational levels
  • Experience in strategic planning, roadmap prioritization, and resource management
  • Data-driven decision-making capabilities with comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Strong analytical ability to evaluate product performance, determine ROI, and make informed trade-off decisions
  • Extensive experience with Agile development methodologies, preferably Scrum
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI to product or business workflows — including process orchestration, automation, or AI-assisted decision-making
  • Practical familiarity with AI-driven software development practices (e.g., AI-assisted coding, prompt engineering, LLM-powered tooling in the SDLC)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Experience in FinTech, Financial Services, or B2B payments
  • Familiarity with AP Automation, commercial payments, or treasury/payables workflows
  • Experience building or shipping AI-powered product features (e.g., intelligent automation, predictive analytics, agentic workflows)
  • Experience working alongside engineering teams using AI-driven development lifecycles or AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
  • Experience evaluating M&A or strategic partnership opportunities
  • Exposure to regulated financial environments and compliance considerations

 

Technical Skills

  • Product lifecycle management and roadmap tooling (e.g., Jira, Aha!, Productboard)
  • Agile / Scrum methodology
  • Data analysis and product metrics (e.g., SQL, Tableau, or similar)
  • AI workflow and process orchestration tools (e.g., LLM-based agents, automation platforms)
  • AI-assisted development tooling and SDLC integration (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar)

 

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with payment rails (ACH, wire, virtual card, real-time payments)
  • Experience with ERP or procurement integrations
  • API-first or platform product development experience
  • Experience with LLM evaluation, prompt engineering, or agentic product design

 

Success in the First 6-12 Months

 

  • Establish a clear, prioritized 12–18 month roadmap for Payment Platforms that is aligned with engineering capacity and business goals
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders in Engineering, Sales, and Operations, becoming a go-to product voice for Payment Platform decisions
  • Deliver at least one major customer-facing capability improvement in Vendor Management or Payment Execution with measurable adoption or satisfaction impact

Pay Transparency

The expected salary range for this position is $187,300 – $190,000, based on the candidate’s work location. This range reflects a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final offer will be determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable market conditions. Compensation may vary based on geographic location and will be confirmed during the hiring process. Additional compensation and benefits, including incentive programs, health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits (where applicable), may also be provided.
