Position Summary
CORALVITA Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented Telemetry Monitor Technician to join our clinical team.
The Telemetry Monitor Technician is responsible for the continuous observation and interpretation of cardiac telemetry monitors, recognizing rhythm changes and promptly communicating significant findings to appropriate clinical personnel. This role plays an important part in supporting patient safety and timely clinical intervention.

Key Responsibilities
- Continuously observe and interpret cardiac telemetry monitors and identify changes in cardiac rhythms.
- Promptly report significant or abnormal rhythm changes to appropriate nursing or clinical personnel.
- Maintain accurate monitoring information and complete required documentation and clerical tasks.
- Perform routine telemetry equipment checks and maintains equipment according to established procedures.
- Communicate effectively with nursing and other members of the clinical team.
- Follow patient safety, infection prevention, confidentiality, and regulatory standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous telemetry monitoring experience and/or equivalent education in telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation required.
- One (1) year of healthcare experience with telemetry monitoring experience preferred.
- Medical Terminology coursework preferred.
- Current BLS certification from a CORALVITA-approved provider preferred.
Experience & Skills
- Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring.
- Ability to recognize and promptly communicate significant rhythm changes.
- Strong attention to detail, observation, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to remain focused while continuously monitoring multiple patients.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions and respond appropriately to changes in patient telemetry.
- Working knowledge of computers and software applications used in healthcare settings.
