Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Shift
Position Summary
CORALVITA Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Day Shift nursing team.
The RN provides and coordinates high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. This role collaborates with physicians, nursing staff, patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, effective, patient-centered care.
The RN provides direct patient care while appropriately delegating and supervising nursing activities in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and professional standards. The RN may also serve in a Charge Nurse capacity based on patient and hospital needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and develop, implement, evaluate, and update individualized plans of care.
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, wound care, respiratory care, and ongoing patient assessment.
- Monitor patient conditions, communicate changes, coordinate physician orders, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, discharge needs, and ongoing care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation while protecting patient confidentiality.
- Delegate and supervise nursing care appropriately and serve as Charge Nurse when assigned.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, regulatory, and hospital policies while participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Provides clinical direction, delegation, and supervision as appropriate to:
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPN/LVNs)
- Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
- Nursing Aides
- Patient Care/Nursing Technicians
Minimum Qualifications
Licensure & Certifications
- Current, valid, and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Current BLS certification from a CORALVITA-approved provider.
- Current ACLS certification, or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire from a CORALVITA-approved provider.
Experience & Skills
- Previous acute care nursing experience strongly preferred.
- Medical/Surgical and/or Progressive Care nursing experience preferred, as applicable.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make sound independent clinical decisions within the RN scope of practice.
- Knowledge of nursing standards, regulatory requirements, infection prevention, and patient safety practices.
- Strong communication, organization, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
- Working knowledge of computers, electronic documentation systems, and clinical software applications.
