Mental Health Residential Advisor – Full Time
Residential Advisor support residents by building authentic, professional relationships, and helping to restore a sense of engagement, productivity, and contribution. RA's work to maintain a safe and supportive environment, assisting with planned activities, supportive check-ins, and additional coverage as needed.
Location: Asheville, NC
Schedule:
- Wednesday – Saturday 3 – 11 pm

Salary: $19.00 per hour and increases based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Provides relationship-oriented coaching and support to residents and attaining their goals
- Assures the health and safety of resident and responds immediately to concerns and completes check-ins
- Participates and encourages participation of residents in recreational, social, and cultural activities
- Facilitates spontaneous social experiences for residents who are not participating in scheduled activities
- Supports residents with room cleaning and helps out in general with the cleaning of common areas of the building
- Transports residents to scheduled appointments as needed
- Is a first responder for on-call services in the evening hours
- Responsible for documentation for assigned residents
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience working with individuals whose lives are impeded by mental illness
- 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to be on organization’s auto insurance
