Position Summary:

The IT Legacy App - Intern works as a liaison between TRESS consultants and business community. Communicates any new legal/customer requirements to the business and works with IT Manager for feasibility and timing deployment. Capable of understand basic system configuration and have knowledge on

Attendance/payroll process. Prepares all documentation required for SOX audit purposes. Administers access to the systems thru Consol tickets. Interacts regularly with Mexico business users.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for processing requests received thru Consol tickets in queue APP Business Mexico.
  • Responsible for following procedures defined for new user access or Role Management (SOX narratives).
  • Responsible for Legacy app upgrades, getting the corresponding approvals from business and IT.
  • Responsible for SOX audits request, including Monthly/Quarterly reports generation and documentation requested for upgrades.
  • Responsible for any special projects or assignments as agreed upon to support Legacy App functionality.
  • Manage annual application licenses, including tracking PO/invoice to the vendor.
  • Continually seeks self-education in computer system and administration methods, and utilizes books,
  • Manuals and resource aids to their fullest potential
  • Maintains functional expertise in area of responsibility
  • Develops and maintains process documentation for existing and proposed processes.
  • May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description.

 Education and Qualifications:

  • Business administration, Industrial engineering or related student.
  • Advanced English.
  • Good attitude
  • Proactive
  • Active college student
  • Willing to stay for a 6-month program with the possibility of extension.
  • Microsoft office
