Expected salary range of $83,700 to $93,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
Primary Purpose of Position
The Analyst, Market Intelligence supports the analysis of data center and technology market trends and the development of market intelligence that informs strategic decision-making and business development. This role gathers, analyzes, and synthesizes market data, tracks key metrics, and provides data-driven insights on data centers and the broader data economy. The Analyst, Market Intelligence will report directly to the Senior Manager, Data Economy Strategy and will contribute to Constellation's corporate strategy and strategic growth initiatives.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
- Monitor and analyze key data sources, including news wires, earnings calls, company disclosures, regulatory filings, and data center facilities, to gather relevant market intelligence.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market dynamics, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and decision-making processes.
- Supports analysis of data center market trends and development of market intelligence to support strategic decision-making and business development.
- Tracks defined developments, events, and metrics to understand data center market trends and identify insights for review with the team.
- Creates and maintains market analyses, data sets, and recurring reports used to monitor and communicate market intelligence to leadership.
- Builds a working understanding of the data center market and its key stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, sustainability, or related field
- Proven ability to self direct work, prioritize competing demands, and meet established deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively within a team setting
- Demonstrated ability to explore new ideas, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Strong team player, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, builds consensus, and possesses a strong desire to explore new ideas, challenge assumptions, and continuously seek out opportunities for improvement
- 2+ years of experience in finance, market intelligence, data analytics, or a related field
- Demonstrated interest in the data center market and broader data economy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions
- Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly summarize information and present findings to stakeholders
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) and integrating multiple datasets
- Demonstrated ability to apply sound judgment, and escalate issues as appropriate
Preferred Qualifications
- Finance or consulting experience
- Data center or technology-related experience
- Familiarity with leveraging AI tools across datasets, research, and workflows
