Connoisseur Media - Lubbock is looking for an entry-level, full-time Promotions/On-Air/Digital Assistant to represent our stations: KONE (Rock 101.1), KLLL-FM (96.3), KBTE (104.9 The Beat), and KMMX (Mix 100.3). You'll be the face of our brands—bringing our brands to life with enthusiasm, authenticity, and a positive attitude by interacting with listeners, setting up eye-catching displays, running games and giveaways; live or voice-tracked on-air opportunities, and helping create compelling digital content in sales and programming. This position plays a key role in creating memorable experiences for our listeners and partners.
- Execute promotions such as remotes, events, van appearances, and other marketing and promotions team activities.
- Conduct site checks for upcoming live broadcasts using Comrex NX,
- Execute live broadcasts using Comrex NX,
- Set up station events: raising tents, plugging in sound systems, putting up signage/banners.
- Covering an on-air shift either live or voicetracked
- Dress appropriately for each station format
- Managing the events while in progress: interacting with listeners, leading games, prize wheels, speaking on the microphone/PA.
- Capture and recap promotional events via photos, video, audio, social media, etc.
- Coordinate contest prize inventory, prize sheets/slips, prize fulfillment, and release forms.
- Create, post, and boost social media ads across platforms for multiple formats
- Develop social media images, videos, and graphics using Photoshop, Canva, and other design tools.
- Execute sales email blasts and station-specific email campaigns.
- Design and manage website banners, pre-rolls, and RDS displays (Quu).
- Support client partnerships by providing digital campaign assets and performance insights.
- Shoot and edit video, audio, and photography for social, promotional, and non-promotional content.
- Push app notifications and manage digital content updates.
- Maintain non-promotional website and app items to ensure accuracy and engagement.
- Track monthly digital performance metrics across social, web, email, and app platforms.
- Provide insights to optimize campaigns and maximize ROI.
- Must be competent on current social media platforms and apps
- Other duties as assigned.
- Experience with G Suite (docs, sheets, slides, etc.)
- Excellent driving record, valid driver's license, and proof of insurability
- Physical ability to stand for multiple hours and lift or move 40-pound objects
- Organizational skills; ability to prioritize and effectively manage time
- Position requires working weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, and on call. Evenings and weekends- hours will vary. Weekend work, early mornings, and late evenings will alter fairly consistently along with client and business needs.
- Have an interest in radio.
- Previous radio or media experience.
