The Role
We're looking for a proactive, enthusiastic, and detail-focused Accounts Payable Lead to join our finance team. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in keeping our finance operations running smoothly while supporting the wider business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional who is ready to take the next step in their career. Alongside managing the accounts payable function, you'll lead and support a small team of two, helping them develop while driving efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across processes. What will I be delivering?
As our Accounts Payable Lead, you'll be responsible for a broad range of finance activities, including:
- Leading, managing, and developing a team of two Accounts Payable professionals, providing day-to-day guidance, support, and coaching.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Managing the end-to-end invoice process, working closely with teams across the business to ensure invoices are processed and paid on time.
- Overseeing bank reconciliations and supporting day-to-day banking activities.
- Managing credit control activities and helping maintain healthy cash flow.
- Supporting cash flow forecasting and monitoring.
