FOOD 4 LESS is actively hiring for several on-site positions. The available roles include: * **GROCERY LEAD DAY:** This role involves supervising daily activities on the sales floor, managing floor staff, and enhancing the shopping experience. Essential functions include overseeing inventory, managing employees, ensuring customer satisfaction, coordinating sales floor layout, and overseeing processing of damaged goods. Candidates should possess knowledge of retail management and customer service. * **GROCERY ORDERING CLERK FOOD 4 LESS:** The Ordering Clerk is responsible for managing the store's ordering and inventory control processes while ensuring efficient and accurate stock levels. Responsibilities include placing and managing orders, verifying orders, maintaining supplier relationships, maintaining department standards and stock levels, verifying invoices, and monitoring inventory levels. Knowledge of inventory systems and procedures is required. * **Self-Checkout (SCO) Attendant:** This role is a crucial final point of contact for customers. Responsibilities include processing payments, handling customer service, operating SCO stations, assisting customers with the checkout process, and preventing theft. * **Northern Floating Grocery Manager:** This position involves managing and coordinating the activities of the Grocery and Front-End departments, maximizing sales, achieving labor goals, developing staff, and controlling expenses. The role also requires the candidate to travel between different stores in the central valley and northern stores. * **POS HELPER:** The POS Helper maintains price integrity throughout the store and the appearance and presentation of store signage and product placement. Essential functions include assisting with resetting merchandise, processing shelf tags, and ensuring proper label placement. * **GROCERY NIGHT CREW 2ND:** The Night Crew 2nd supports the Night Crew Manager in overseeing the Grocery department during the night shift. Responsibilities include maintaining proper pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise, ordering store products, and scheduling effectively. * **PRODUCE 2ND:** The Produce Clerk is responsible for providing customer service, maintaining the produce department's presentation, and assisting with inventory and stocking. The role requires following procedures for receiving products, replenishment, and handling damaged items. * **COMBO CLERK:** The Combo Clerk processes payments and assists in various departments. The role involves providing customer service, processing transactions, assisting with self-checkout, and following payment acceptance processes. * **PERSON IN CHARGE FOOD 4 LESS:** The Person in Charge (PIC) supervises Front End employees, provides customer service, and resolves issues. Responsibilities include assigning duties, handling payments, assisting with training, and ensuring compliance with store policies. * **WAREHOUSE DC CLERK (NIGHT SHIFT):** This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials in the distribution center. Essential functions include inspecting shipments, maintaining inventory, picking and packing orders, and ensuring the warehouse is organized and safe.
