Title: Brewing Opportunities Intern
Department: Programs
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Title of Immediate Supervisor: Manager of Career Readiness and Employment
Primary Functions of the Position:
The Brewing Opportunities Intern will learn and utilize skills related to building and managing a social enterprise. This experience will be delivered through the operation of a coffee cart that serves customers in the Greater Richmond region.
This position requires collaboration with:
- Manager of Career Readiness and Employment
- Career Readiness and Employment team
- Director of Programs
Specific Functions of the Position:
- Learn business planningskills such as budgeting, marketing, and licensure
- ObtainServSafeFood Handler certification through online course
- Perform customer service tasks ata high level
- Brew and serve Afterglow coffee and other related products
- Use aPoint of Salesystem for customer transactions
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Career Readiness andEmployment Internshipgraduate.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
