As one of the most important members of our hotel team, you'll be the key to creating a positive first impression and delivering exceptional guest satisfaction.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Guest Room Cleaning & Preparation

• Clean guest rooms according to hotel cleanliness and brand standards
• Make beds and replace linens daily
• Vacuum carpets and clean windows
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and room surfaces
• Replenish guest room and bathroom amenities
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, mirrors, showers, tubs, toilets, and floors

Hotel Appearance & Maintenance

• Keep housekeeping carts clean, stocked, and organized
• Stock linen rooms and housekeeping supplies
• Report maintenance issues and repair needs promptly
• Complete daily assignment sheets and housekeeping reports
• Maintain cleanliness in hallways, elevators, pool areas, and common spaces
• Remove dirty linens and transport them to designated areas

Guest Service Excellence

• Provide friendly and professional service to all guests
• Maintain guest confidentiality
• Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously
• Assist coworkers and guests as needed
• Report guest concerns or complaints to supervisors

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of proper cleaning methods and equipment use
• Understanding of safe chemical handling procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience
• Hospitality or hotel experience
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Commitment to quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift and transport up to 25 pounds
• Push and pull carts and equipment up to 100 pounds
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout extended shifts
• Work in varying temperatures and environments
• Safely work around cleaning chemicals, dust, and cleaning equipment
• Reach above shoulder height to perform cleaning duties
