The Director of the Center for Same Day Surgery is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating Clinical Services. Major responsibilities include ensuring the quality of services provided. |
Position Qualifications |
Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. A Master’s Degree in Nursing, Business, or Health Administration is preferred. |
Experience/Specialized Skills/AptitudesFive (5) years in a nursing leadership position and five (5) years experience in clinical specialty with a minimum of three (3) years in a tertiary care hospital. Effective communication; strong leadership skills; ability to work collaboratively; demonstrate high level of performance; ability to integrate, coordinate and facilitate ideas/programs/staff; strong interpersonal skills; ability to manage and facilitate change; problem-solving skills. |
Licenses/Certificates:Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license. Current BLS certification must be completed prior to end of orientation period |
