Billing Specialist

Job Location: Commonwealth Health Physician Network

Position Purpose:

Responsible for entering insurance and patient payments, provider charges. Updating patient account and demographic information, follow specific guidelines for proper billing processes. Experience and judgment needed to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks daily. Exceptional organizational skills. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Position Qualifications

Education:

High school degree or equivalent

Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes

Must be detailed oriented and able to multitask. Computer skills necessary. Experience with medical billing software preferred.
