Job Summary/Overview

Position: Executive Projects (LM – Rail)

 

Position Summary: The Executive Projects (LM - Rail) is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, installation, testing, and commissioning of railway depot (Crane, Pit-Jack, Mobile-Jack) equipment projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and project schedules. The role coordinates with cross-functional teams, customers, and site stakeholders to deliver projects efficiently while maintaining quality, cost, and documentation requirements. Experience in crane Industry is an added advantage.

 

Location: India / Project Site / Depot Facilities (Travel as required)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 Project Execution

  • Support project planning, scheduling, and resource management activities.
  • Execute railway depot equipment projects in accordance with project specifications, budget, and timeline.
  • Monitor project progress and identify risks, delays, and mitigation measures.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.

 Technical Management

  • Review technical specifications, drawings, and design documents.
  • Ensure compliance with railway standards, customer requirements, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with design, engineering, and product teams for technical clarifications.
  • Support preparation and review of method statements, inspection plans, and technical reports.

 Installation & Commissioning

  • Supervise installation and integration of depot equipment systems.
  • Coordinate testing and commissioning activities with stakeholders.
  • Ensure equipment performance meets contractual and operational requirements.
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during installation and commissioning.

 Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare project progress reports, technical documentation, and status updates.
  • Maintain records of engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Track project deliverables, change requests, and punch-list items.
  • Support preparation of as-built documentation and project closeout reports.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering/ electrical engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering/ related discipline.

Experience:

  • 0-4 years of experience in railway, metro, depot equipment, industrial automation, rolling stock, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of industrial or railway systems is preferred.
