Pallet Dismantler
Location: Dover, PA
Pay: $11.00/hr starting out and a weekly attendance bonus.
Job description:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Pallet Dismantling:
- Operate the pallet dismantling machine, ensuring safe and efficient dismantling of inbound pallets.
- As the pusher, push pallets through the machine; as the puller, pull dismantled pallets through the machine.
- Change broken or loose blades to ensure continuous operation.
- Unjam pallets or boards stuck in the machine, maintaining minimal downtime.
- Quality Control & Prep:
- Ensure pallets are free of debris before dismantling.
- Dismantle pallets in a manner that minimizes damage and cut marks to the materials.
- Properly prepare dismantled parts by removing protruding nails, screws, and other materials that could affect further processing.
- Send quality recycled parts to the lumber sorter for further processing.
Job Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to stand for the full shift
- Ability to read a tape measure is required.
- Works well with others
- Self-driven and able to keep up in a fast-paced, physical job
- Reliable and shows up to work on time

- Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Occasional voluntary overtime
